Volunteering takes all shapes and forms. We do not believe in requiring our volunteers to meet a certain number of hours a year, or committing to the same shifts every week. We are here to save dogs, and if you want to do the same we welcome the help. Whether it be helping us fundraise, social media, etc, we would love for you to join us as part of the Salty Dog family!

One of the most rewarding parts of the rescue is fostering dogs that have been pulled off the kill lists at shelters, or that are being rescued from an undesirable situation.

We do not believe in limiting our rescue just to the local area. Dogs everywhere need help. If you cannot commit to fostering long term but do not mind driving an hour or two for us to save dogs off euthanasia lists at shelters across central Florida, that would be a huge help.

Do not have the time to foster a dog? No problem!

We also very much need equipment and supplies to care for the dogs in our care. Our goal is for each dog to forget about their past, and only know love going forward.
